15th Anniversary International Oil & Gas Exhibition and Conference will be held 2-5 October 2007 at the Atakent Exhibition centre in Almaty.

The exhibition will occupy 6 pavilions of the Exhibition Centre: Pavilion 9, 9a, 9b, 9c, 10 and 11

Since 1993, the KIOGE Exhibition & Conference has been reflecting growing interest in the Kazakh national oil and gas sector.

The Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources of Kazakhstan, Mr. Baktikozha Izmukhambetov , underlined the importance of the event in his welcome letter: "While reflecting the trends in the world and national oil and gas market, the international forum of KIOGE provides participants with an opportunity to assert their status in the industry, demonstrate their potential, consolidate business links, and expand co-operation opportunities. Thanks to its busy and extensive agenda, the KIOGE Exhibition and Conference contributed to the development of Kazakhstan 's oil and gas sector and offered a unique opportunity for diversified co-operation."

New venture of KIOGE 2006 included the First KIOGE Oil & Gas Job Fair. The fair aimed to attract oil and gas professionals who are searching of ways to develop their career in the sector. 14 companies took part in the 1 st KIOGE Job Fair: KazMunaiGas National Company, E&P KazMunayGas, Karachaganak Petroleum Operating B.V. (KPO) , AGIP KCO, Bolashak, Saudi Aramco, ASC International, CheckPoint, KazakhJob.com, Fircroft, RTGOIL LLP, Baker Hughes, GlobaL Recruitment (division of Scot Holland LLP), Kazmunayteniz and ECRP.

The seminar agenda of the four-day exhibition was busy and interesting. Day One featured a presentation by Siemens The Experience of Implementing Projects in Kazakhstan 's Oil and gas Complex Using Siemens Equipment . Other workshops during the event included those by Digital Orb, Tandem Translations, ABB, ITC Electronics, NeoTech KZ, and Aktau Institute of Oil and Gas.
